The fallacy of white supremacy is that most working-class and middle-class white people don't want to admit that they're caught up in the game like non-whites.

This whole election drama with the selection of Palin, and even Hilary Clinton brought this up--is centered around acknowledging that there are all these working class white people who are actually shit up the creek and don't matter any more than non-whites. Those working class white people have been fooled into thinking they're on the same safe ground as the elites, and have loyally supported the white supremacy system thinking they're a part of it. They ain't.

These elites are now trying to cater and placate them and keep them comforted in the fact that they're white, most glaringly with the selection of Palin to be vice-president; she is literally the face of working-class white America. The majority of white people who are not the elite will continue to support white supremacy in subconscious hopes that it pays off for them. Meanwhile, they're really in no better a situation than non-whites.

Ahh Yes,Mr. Tim Wise....im suprised to see him!.....ive beed reading Mr. Wise writings for many years now......he "Breaks the Silence".on what White folks REALLY THINK....You know...the stuff they Pray.....You and I never figure out...........We Need more Brave White Folks like him!
