lol please watch the video again. you are contradicting your defense...if everything comes from the bible why would he not feel the need to tell them the truth or make sure they know he is only giving them false hope because he does not want to be looked at as a judge and only as a motivator. u don't need to be in a church to motivate or inspire but he hase put himself on that stage

too many people look to man for inspiration....why would he not give all the sweet things the bible has to say to those who are starving and struggling? that makes him look good that make people going thru hell, feel as though they have gotten a good thing from him when he indeed withholds the real truths

what motivation is that? what inspiration is that? only if people sought the truth for themselves and not the mouth of someone else.....we just might be able to take over the world.

knowledge is power, but i think knowledge of self is even greater....

Well I stopped listenin after five minutes and twenty seconds. Maybe they found some concrete evidence after that, that I missed. But from the start of the vid until that point I couldn't really find anything wrong. Pastor Olsteen preaches the prosperity gospel which does not touch on anything that could have a negative connotation. Apparently he is doing something right because he has so many followers. At least he is doing his part to try to bring more people to Christ and that is what being a Christian is all about. That whole thing about Jews and Muslims is nonsense. I think that was a trpa set by the devil. Personally I don't watch Pastor Olsteen and I'm not a fan of the prosperity gospel, but he is gettin people in the church and that is the first step.

This guy is clearly a hater.....Olsteen was clearly stating his position about NOTJUDGING people. He was right in saying he or the rest of us here on earth do not know for sure who is or isn't going to hell because of us not knowing their hearts (which only the higher knows)...... The guy doing the interview was trying to get Olsteen to tell who is or isnt going to hell. If everyone read the bible, people thought David was going to hell and he didn't. This just goes to say people do not have a life and are bent on taking people down in their own misery....what a loser!

My thoughts about the Bible. I don't believe in it because the Bible has abuse of women and incest and violence so how can you believe everything in the bible. Yes it has it's good and valid points about love and God is love but I don't take the Bible literally. Alot of people that are Christians have a hard time trying to be true to themselves because they have to present certain expectations. People are always frontin and faking the funk. I tried the religion thing and it brought my self esteem down even more. I believe Osteen is like everyone else struggling to be himself because that is what is conditioned in us. For me my family still tells me that I need to get my son and myself baptize in water and join a church but these are the same hypocrits that drink, do drugs and think just because they were baptized when they were five that they have special priviliges. So sad. Of course they are baptist.LOL! This video proves none of us are perfect and osteen is dealing with some issues and I don't believe he believes in all of the Bible he just can't say that because of the position he is in.

as i stand by my intial comments.....it is sad that those searching have such poor examples to look too, u r rite none of us are perfect its not the way it was intended and if er one stop actin as if they r or will be then we all may get along better with each other and understand our differences in each there is one thing that keeps us connected and that is the light but if u cant find the light in urself then how can u see it in others...idk but this whole olsteen thing is beyond my tru intrest but i realize that religion has always been controversial...then in the days of the bible and even now. i hope the ones searching find what they are looking forr ;)

I agree with you DFolks... I myself never really applied to structured Religion. Something within my being would not allow that to happen from a very early age. My mother never forced Religion on me and she always told me to follow my own path. I believe in spriituality and of course a Divine Creator.... With that said, listen to the video. The narrator is spewning hateful judgemental things in the name of Religion. Ergo, the reason I do not subscribe to Structured Religion. There is enough hatred in the world without having to get it from spiritual/religions beleif system.

This video doesn't expose Osteen to me but just criticizes him for not being gutsy enough to stand for his believes. Personally, I don't trust Christianity because it has been tainted and given to my people from slave masters who wanted to instill fear into my ancestors.
